CORN SOUP WITH CREAM AND HAM (2021) is a window into my childhood memories. The narrative film's point of departure is from the first house we lived in as a family of four. It then ventures into the complexity of stepping into adulthood. It narrates through a recollection of my environment and surroundings. As a child, most of my memories were through tangible materials; the chair, the table, and the ribbon on my friend's hair. The film pivots on different narration methods and adapts the concept of Aleatoric Music. In an aleatory arrangement, it rejects standard narrative values and structures. The order of the measures of a musical piece was left to be determined by throwing dice. Similar to memories, our experiences are re-coded and presented as an abstraction of reality. The abstractions often replay in our mind in different instances throughout life.
The film integrates 8 segments with 8 narration recordings into a unified narrative. The translation from English to German in the film is presented in reverse. At the midpoint of each film, the languages converge. Through how the script is written, the languages metaphorically speak to one another.

MAISSUPPE MIT SAHNE UND SCHINKEN (2021) gewährt Einblick in meine Kindheitserinnerungen. Der narrative Film beginnt mit dem ersten Haus, in dem wir als Familie zu viert gewohnt haben. Er führt dann in die Komplexität des Erwachsenwerdens. Er erzählt durch eine Erinnerung an meine Umgebung und meine Umwelt. Als Kind bestanden die meisten meiner Erinnerungen aus greifbaren Materialien wie dem Stuhl, dem Tisch und dem Band im Haar meiner Freundin.
Der Film basiert auf verschiedenen Erzählmethoden und adaptiert das Konzept der aleatorischen Musik. In einer aleatorischen Anordnung lehnt er standardmäßige narrative Werte und Strukturen ab. Die Reihenfolge der Maße eines Musikstücks wurde durch das Werfen von Würfeln bestimmt. Ähnlich wie Erinnerungen werden auch unsere Erfahrungen neu codiert und als Abstraktion der Realität präsentiert. Die Abstraktionen spielen oft in unserem Geist in verschiedenen Momenten des Lebens erneut ab.
Der Film integriert 8 Segmente mit 8 Sprecheraufnahmen zu einer einheitlichen Erzählung. Die Übersetzung von Englisch nach Deutsch im Film ist rückwärts angeordnet. In der Mitte jedes Films verschmelzen die Sprachen. Durch die Art, wie das Skript geschrieben ist, sprechen die Sprachen metaphorisch miteinander.
